In 2022, the Penrhos College Foundation launched a special initiative for our Year 12 boarders - the Commemorative Boarders’ Birds. These beautiful birds are symbolic of our boarding students spreading their wings as they leave the boarding house for new horizons, and the legacy they leave within the corridors of the building.
Your daughter’s commemorative bird will have her name; Class of 2025; and your hometown and/or suburb with acknowledgment of the first nations country as recognition of the traditional custodians of country.
The cost of the bird is $125, which will be invested back into the Boarding House by the Penrhos College Foundation for programs and initiatives in 2026.
Bookings close Monday, 22 September 2025.
The Penrhos College Foundation will host a special ceremony at the Boarding House before the Year 12 Boarder/Parents Dinner on Tuesday, 21 October at 5pm to unveil the birds.
